‘Doing a Rommel‘ was a big fad in North Africa. Allied combatants often greeted a soldier who outdid himself during the war with the phrase, reserved only for the best, whose actions matched the famous German General.

Variations of that phrase, juxtaposed as and when it suits, happen from time to time. Anyone capable of throwing punches appears to be ‘Doing a Tyson. That’s how people associate brutal thrashing with one of the greatest boxers in history.
The techniques may be irrelevant and turn out cocky. But the sheer aggression and brutal strength applied to win over as petty as a studio argument, stir up a stark resemblance to mighty Iron Mike Tyson in his heydays.

Take, for instance, a recent video where two rappers’ altercation turned into a full-scale fistfight.
Hosted by YouTuber and blogger Adam John Grandmaison, aka Adam 22, the show No Jumper caters to a young crowd milling around hip-hop culture.
In the latest podcast, young rappers Almighty Suspect and Lil Kelly joined Adam.
A No Jumper regular, 19-year-old rapper and social media personality Lil Kelpy has recorded and shared songs through Apple and SoundCloud. Also, more than 1000 people subscribe to the Orange County native’s YouTube channel.
Beron Thompkins, better known by his moniker Almighty Suspect, has rap music in his blood. He is the son of Ellay Khule or Riflemen, a member of the underground hip-hop band Project Blowed.

During the conversation, Adam questioned Almighty Suspect on why, during an earlier interview, he considered Kelpy’s attire inappropriate. The latter responded that (Kelpy’s) fur coat was comparable to a “costume” worn by a person imitating a p**p.
Doing a Mike Tyson
Things took a turn for the worse from then on. Taking slight to Kelpy calling him b***h, Almighty asked, “Who? You said what?” Kelpy replied, “Ben Franklin knows who the f*** I am, b*tch.”
Almighty Suspect immediately rushed to where Kelpy sat and swiped at the latter’s face. Adam and members of his team immediately rushed to separate the rappers.

The viral video pulled viewers’ immediate reactions, from criticizing the episode to suspecting a fake. Finally, some with a technical bent reserved their apprehensions on the sheer execution of punches!

The countless hours, sweat, and blood that Mike Tyson shed to conquer the boxing world may be lost on a generation. Trading punches at the drop of a hat is the shorter route. But only a Mike Tyson can cross his heart that circumventing the path paved with difficulties may not always lead to the destination.
