Nova himself is about to enter the ring against O’Shaquie Foster tonight for the WBC super featherweight title. So, while discussing his fight, the reporter probed Nova about his predictions for the upcoming Garcia-Haney fight. ‘El Super’ wasted no time coming up with an answer, claiming, “Ryan Garcia all day. He’s going to win.”
Nova added that Garcia’s personality imparts a false image, but Garcia has what it takes to win. “His skills, the way he looks, [don’t] speak for him. But he performs. And he knows how to fight, and the number one thing is style makes [the] fight, and Ryan Garcia, he’s tailor-made for that,” said Nova. When asked about whether Garcia can score a knockout, Nova stated, “High possibility, yes!” While Nova is backing ‘King Ry,’ a British boxing promoter has also taken his pick.

“They’re two tremendous young fighters putting it on the line on April 20th. I’m looking forward to a massive night. I think Devin wins by late stoppage or points,” he continued. It’s worth mentioning that the undefeated Haney had acquired his WBC super lightweight title by defeating Regis Prograis, which is on the line for the Garcia fight. Meanwhile, Garcia will appear in the ring for the second time since first career loss to Gervonta Davis.
