Hardcore boxing lovers are well acquainted with the immense rivalry between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The two men rank as the finest heavyweight of this era. On top of this, the pair was in contention to meet each other for the undisputed title last year. However, this fight failed to materialize due to some external factors.
Since then, the feud between the two increased extensively, and it’s far from reaching saturation.
Recently, ‘The Gypsy King’ went a level up by launching another scathing attack on ‘AJ’. This time, the WBC champ hit at his compatriot over his 2012 Olympic gold win. Speaking to Max Kellerman on ESPN, Fury gave an honest take on Joshua.

He said, “I think he’s a useless old dosser, Anthony Joshua. he got kicked to the gold medal in London. He robbed the Cuban blind in the first fight. So he shouldn’t even got the medal.”
“And then as soon as he stepped up a level, he got chinned. He tried to go over to America, where the real fights happen. And he absolutely obliterated by a fat kid on two weeks’ notice. So do I think he’s a great fighter? Hell no, I don’t think he’s a great fighter.”

In his 2012 Olympic run, Joshua first faced Erislandy Savon. Winning this fight, ‘AJ’ advanced to meet Zhang Zhilei in the quarter-finals. Bagging another win here, Joshua made it to the semi-finals and defeated Ivan Dychko. Lastly, he vanquished Roberto Cammarelle in the final to claim the gold.
Regardless of all that Joshua did in the 2012 Olympics, Fury came up with some stern words on his stint.
