Finally, Manny Pacquiao is making his exhibition debut against a YouTuber. Pacquiao, who made his pro debut in the year 1995, remained active in the sport till August of last year. His last fight was against Yordenis Ugas inside the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. The WBA Super World Welterweight title was on the line, and Ugas beat the Filipino by a UD. It has been a year since Pacquiao fought his last and the news of him making a return to boxing at 43 took his fans by surprise.

The news was made public by The Manila Times. As the news hit Facebook, several fans reacted to it. The Manila Times reported, ” Manny Pacquiao, who retired from boxing last year, on Tuesday said he is considering an exhibition fight in Saudi Arabia in January.”

Fans react to Manny Pacquiao returning to box in an exhibition match in Saudi Arabia

Recently, Pacquiao, after he conceded defeat in the Philippine presidential election, went to Barcelona with his family and spent quality time. After his defeat, Manny Pacquiao took to social media and said, “As a boxer and an athlete, I know how to accept defeat. I just hope that even if I lost this fight, my fellow Filipinos who are suffering will win.”

As soon as Pacquio making a return to boxing hit Facebook, fans reacted in a variety of ways. Pacquiao will be making his exhibition debut as Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul prepare to fight theirs.  A user by the name Felix Orcullo said, “Poor bugger. He must have spent an absolute fortune in the election.”

Another by the name, Victor Sta Juanna, wrote, “Switch to business to create job opportunities. Boxing belongs to the young. 

However, Jojit Gonzales Binimile added by saying, “When something is your passion, retirement is never an option. I don’t believe he has ran out of money, he will run out of happiness if he will not pursue what he really loves doing – boxing.”

On the contrary, Jojo Tayamen said, “MAKING CLOWN OF HIMSELF.”

And finally, David Mcinerney commented by saying, “He is always the greatest but just time to stop we don’t want him to go on for too long and get damaged.”
