It is known that  Ryan Garcia is a believer in Jesus Christ. But did you wonder why the 24-year-old has such strong faith and belief? In a recent Q&A session with fans on Instagram, ‘Kingry,’ was asked about his faith. The young prospect has always thanked his, “Lord and Saviour,” after his victories. However, back in April, ‘Kingry,’ was handed his first-ever defeat against Gervonta Davis.

Yet, in the post-fight interview, Garcia thanked god and stated, “No matter what, even if I lose I want to say thank you Jesus Christ for all he does in my life.” So without further ado, let’s find out what stems his faith in Jesus.

Garcia has an active social media presence and more than 10 million fans to watch his life on a daily basis. In a recent turn of events, Garcia was asked by a fan on how he continues to have faith in god despite the highs and lows of his life. The fan stated, “How do you keep faith in Jesus when you’re in your lowest moments?” In response, in his Instagram story, Garcia asserted that God always has our best interests in mind and at times one must go through hardships.

While citing an example, he stated, “Perfect example is the story of Job, he lost everything and understand the value of keeping faith in god. We don’t always get why things go wrong but sometimes god is preparing us and building for something much bigger.”

Garcia has inspired many of his fans around the world. Needless to say, his faith in god makes him worthy of being a role model. Not to mention, it is his belief in god that allows him to not succumb to any hardships in life. Moreover, this has not been the only instance, ‘Kingry,’ has spoken about his faith.

Garcia quotes from The Holy Bible

After his defeat against Davis, Garcia took the loss to the chin and did not let his confidence down. He continues to hold the same endeavors of becoming a champion but in a different weight division. Moreover back in May, on his Instagram story, he cited a verse from the Bible. He stated, “Righteous man falls seven times and gets up 8! KEEP GOING LOVE YA’LL. Don’t let past missteps keep you still, push forward. Proverbs 24:16.
