Boxing is one of the primal sports that has managed to survive the test of time. What attracts people to watch boxing bouts is the raw nature the sport packs. Also, it is the knockouts that get almost everyone on their feet. Jorge Luis Gonzalez knocking out Mike White is one such fan-favourite knockout that is etched in the history books.
Gonzalez is a known fighter in the boxing community. He had a successful career of 39 matches with 31 victories. Twenty-seven of his wins came by way of knockouts, making him an entertaining fighter to watch. Notably, he held the WBO Latino heavyweight championship title.
When he faced White, he delivered a textbook knockout showcasing the sweet science behind each punch. During the early rounds, Gonzalez jabbed White to establish his range. After he felt confident with the readings he had made, he unleashed a flurry of punches. White who found himself cornered in the ring was having a tough time handling the pressure put forth by his opponent. With a fast hook combination, down went White. The crowd was in awe of the knockout, and the clip of the same has surfaced online again.

The clip was posted by Top Rank Boxing, with a caption that read, “Don’t know what hit him.” Later on, Fans poured in comments on the clip. Although, this time around, it wasn’t the knockout everyone was buzzing about.
Fans troll Jorge Luis Gonzalez’s haircut
Boxing fans are not just fans of the sport but also fighters. They are invested in the fighters they see on display. And fans of the combat sports world are not known to be kind. The same was the case with Gonzalez’s haircut which appears to be a clean shaved head, except for the back of the head.
A user, @certifiedpeach_, commented, “should’ve never let him in the ring with that hair cut.”

The fans also claimed that White looked similar to Muhammad Ali and Steve Harvey.
