“He Is Interested In Being Number 1”: Chris Eubank Sr Addresses “Bad Blood” Of His Son With Conor Benn Amid Fight Talks

Recently, a fierce challenge has unsettled the boxing community. Chris Eubank Sr, former boxer and the father of champion Boxers, Chris Eubank Jr and Harlem, has sent shockwaves through the boxing world with a direct challenge to Conor Nigel Benn.

After a long hiatus from boxing after a doping scandal and a ban from the UKAD, Benn made a return to boxing in the United States. He was set against Mexican boxer Rudolfo Orozco. Chris Eubank Sr says there’s no bad blood

There’s no bad blood there.  [Benn] is only interested in money [Harlem] is interested in being actually being number one.”

Conor Nigel Benn Cleared by UKAD

According to SkySports, Conor Benn received the green light to continue his boxing journey after the announcement that a UK Anti-Doping inquiry had cleared him regarding the two instances of failed drug tests that resulted in the cancellation of his match against Chris Eubank Jr.

Benn had faced charges earlier in April for texting positive to the female fertility drug clomifene twice. All this in the lead-up to his fight against Eubank Jr in October. 

However, On September 23, 2023, following a 525-day hiatus from the boxing arena, Conor Benn made his triumphant return to the ring in Orlando, Florida. He faced off against the Mexican contender Rodolfo Orozco. In a unanimous victory, Benn emerged as the winner, securing the match through a unanimous decision.
