However, Davis is unfazed. Despite his unbeaten status, ‘Tank’ doesn’t intend to demean Cruz’s chances in an in-ring scrap. Instead, Davis believes that Isaac Cruz can offer a tougher challenge than ‘Rolly’ Romero. Ahead of their December 5 bout, Davis connected with Showtime Sports from his gym and addressed several scenarios.

When asked about his opponent, Gervonta Davis said, “I know that he brings pressure more than Rolly. So, it’s gonna be actually more of an intense fight. This guy is good, I gotta come with my A-game. So I am definitely not sleeping on Cruz. He is definitely a tough opponent for sure.”

Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz is a vicious puncher and holds a professional record of 22 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. He has claimed 15 of those wins via KO and has more experience than Rolando Romero (14-0). Coming from a family of fighters, the 23-year-old Mexican star has all the features to become a world champion.

While Gervonta Davis will do every possible thing to hand Cruz his second pro-defeat, we can expect an intriguing collision between two prime lightweight fighters.

Gervonta Davis can go for another knockout

In a record of 25-0, Davis has 24 KOs under his name. The three-weight world champion has already become an elite knockout artist already and looks favorable to turn Cruz into an in-ring victim via stoppage.
