Former interim WBC heavyweight champion of the world Dillian Whyte has rained down on Deontay Wilder as he called him a “liar” for his recent accusations against the heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
Earlier, Wilder broke his silence and demanded Tyson Fury to accept the much-anticipated trilogy bout. Wilder revealed that he was offered more money to fight Anthony Joshua. However, sticking to his words, he accepted the rematch against Tyson Fury, which took place in February 2020.
When that fight was a draw, I told you that I would give you a rematch. You know I was offered more money to fight Joshua than I was getting to fight you. Again being a man of my word, I fought you
like I said I would…— Deontay Wilder (@BronzeBomber) October 31, 2020

Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte stated that Wilder’s decision to accept the rematch against Fury was courtesy of the “Gypsy King’s” long absence from the boxing ring.
Tyson Fury‘s mental health deteriorated after winning the world title back in 2015, which eventually kept him away from the boxing ring for the better part of the next three years.
“Yeah, he because he thought Fury was an easy fight. That’s how you got it wrong before. He was a few years off, he was rusty. And was out of shape and thought it was an easy fight. So he took the easy fight.
“And he is a liar. Maybe he shot down Joshua, avoiding, and now the truth has come to light. Deontay Wilder is talking sh*t all the time. He’s crazy! The amount of bollocks he talks,” Wilder said.
Soon after dropping the WBC heavyweight gold via stoppage loss against the British heavyweight, Wilder enforced an immediate rematch. However, Fury revealed that the contract which required him to sign on the dotted lines has expired, and he won’t be taking on Wilder in December this year.
Tyson Fury announces his boxing return
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren has revealed that Fury is set to return on December 5 later this year against undefeated German boxer, Agit Kabayel.
“Tyson’s fighting on December 5. We’re giving the guy we wanna fight, which is Kabayel. We’re giving him 24 hours now to sign the contract or we’re gonna move on,” Warren told talkSPORT.

However, nothing has been made official yet and Fury’s team is yet to get a confirmation from Agit Kabayel. Needless to say, Fury has confirmed that he will compete inside Royal Albert Hall in London.
Even if the potential matchup against Agit Kabayel doesn’t see the light of the day, there are several interesting options ahead of Fury in the form of Carlos Takam, Oscar Rivas, and Efe Ajagba.
