Following his loss to KSI, the CEO of Misfits Boxing, Joe Fournier accused the former of cheating. According to Fournier, KSI hit him with a clean elbow while the referee stood there inside the ring and watched it. After his fresh and controversial loss to KSI, Fournier felt the former should be disqualified. Fournier, who entered the bout with an unbeaten professional record, was completely upset about the match result. While KSI almost took pride in defeating Joe Fournier, the latter expressed he has never been cheated like this in his life.

Ahead of the bout with Fournier, KSI publicly declared that he would fight Tommy Fury after he has beaten Fournier in the ring. However, Fournier felt KSI’s latest victory should actually be considered a loss. After the mentioned bout, Fournier spoke about his views to Fred Beck.

Joe Fournier demands KSI should be disqualified

Despite the claims by Fournier and others, KSI announced that he hit the former with a fair shot. In KSI’s language, it was a “massive shot” that got Fournier “dazed“. In KSI’s opinion, Fournier was “scrambling” and tried to hold on to him for his “dear life“. On the contrary, Fournier claimed that KSI intentionally missed a right hand and landed an elbow. “He cheated, it’s clear, you’ve all seen the replays. It’s gone viral all over the world,” Fournier told Fred Beck.

According to Fournier, it is difficult winning when one is fighting the promoter on his own show. For the same reason, he believes the referee remained silent when KSI hit him with an illegal elbow. “He hit me with a clean elbow. The ref was right there, watched it. When you’re fighting the promoter on his own show – I’ve never been cheated like that in my life,” declared Joe Fournier.
