In an interview with FightHype, Gervonta Davis opened up about Ryan Garcia’s activities despite being devoutly religious. Davis does not seem happy about Garcia’s habits even after claiming to be religious and did not hesitate to call him out for it.

Davis said, “He drinks a lot, gambles a lot.” The 28-year-old further added, “Just don’t say like I’m just so highly.” Davis considers Garcia to be a hypocrite for his actions despite his claims of being religious. Davis said, “Praise god like I’m a saint.” The three-weight-division world champion does not want Garcia to claim to be a highly religious person if he continues to drink or gamble.

Davis further agreed with the reporter and called Garcia a “hypocrite.” The Baltimore hard-hitter further clarified that Garcia is only 24 and needs to “relax.” He further made a comparison between him and Garcia, saying, “He’s more of a bad person than me.” This is not the first time Garcia was called out by ‘Tank.’ Notably, Gervonta Davis’ coach has previously called out Ryan Garcia on the rehydration clause.
