Jake Paul fought and defeated Nate Diaz last month. However, post the bout, ‘The Problem Child,’ expressed his interest in facing Diaz again but inside an octagon; an MMA bout. The 26-year-old has shown his interest towards competing in MMA in the past. Not to mention, he has a deal with the ‘Professional Fighting League,’ which is an MMA league. The former UFC fighter is now a free agent and Paul was adamant about competing under the PFL banner and nowhere else. It is also reported that Paul had made a $10 Million offer to Diaz and the MMA fighter welcomed the idea of it.
Moreover, in a recent turn of events, Paul claims the 38-year-old “ducked” the offer. In addition, he asserts that the behind-the-scenes inclinations for the bout are inconsistent with how he responded when asked on camera. But do the fans buy these claims? Let’s find out.

Paul has yet to make an MMA debut while Diaz has been a veteran. To suggest that Diaz is afraid of Paul for an MMA contest did not convince the fans at large. In a post made by @HappyPunch X, Paul stated, “Nate Diaz ducked the $10 Million offer and he’s not he is not the bada*s everyone claims. Cause I wanted him to fight in MMA. Behind the scenes, we tried to make it happen and push forward with it.”
Here is how the fans reacted.
One fan is glad that the fight is not happening as Paul would have been defeated in a devastating fashion.
Honestly, Probably for the best. Jake will definitely lose that fight..

On similar lines, another fan asserts the same as above but claims Diaz is not ducking him.
Nate Diaz isn't ducking Jake Paul in MMA. Diaz would dominate

While one fan thinks Diaz may have declined the offer because of some contractual issues.
Nah there has to be more to this lol. Imma need to see a contract

Another fan speculated and claimed that Diaz did want to compete under the PFL banner.
it's because he doesn't want to fight in PFL.

Also, one fan is simply in disbelief and made that evident.
I highly doubt that

From the reactions above, it can be safely inferred that some fans consider Paul’s claim as bluff. While others think there is more to it than meets the eye. However, majority of the fans side with Diaz in this debacle. Until then, we are curious to know, what do you make of this entire fiasco?
