There isn’t a persona from ‘Triple G’ to ‘Iron Man’, Canelo Alvarez hasn’t pummeled into submission. The Mexican superstar remains unvanquished. Some two weeks ago, Edgar Berlanga made an attempt to breach Alvarez’s defensive walls. But like Jaime Munguia before him, ‘The Chosen One’ too capitulated before an unremitting attack.
So if that’s the case in the ring, what might happen if the super middleweight champion’s virtual representation becomes available? Canelo Alvarez has been making waves once again. Though not exactly new to the reel, fans have been chatting about the boxing superstar since he appeared in the ‘Call of Duty’ commercial. Needless to say, many were surprised when they came across photos of the champion, created via artificial intelligence. Some took to their keyboards to pen their thoughts.

Several channels shared the ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ advertisement. The ‘Replacer’ trailer features Alvarez in the ring, trading punches with the central character, played deftly by Swedish actor Peter Stormare.
After giving him a sound drubbing, a puzzled Alvarez asks the corner, “Who is this guy?” “Carlos is playing ‘Call of Duty’,” a reply follows. Then, to his utter dismay, ‘The Replacer’, wearing a headgear, walks back and pulls out a baseball to hit.

Perhaps the presence of their icon in the trailer for such a groundbreaking game hyped the fans and sparked their imaginations. Let’s check what a few fans had to say about Canelo Alvarez’s ‘AI Avatar’.
Probably not on board with Alvarez’s cameo, this fan shared a critical review. They suggested that the game no longer meets the expectations of its players. The fan said, “Call of Duty fell off so hard smh.”
But then another joined, expressing enthusiasm. They hoped the AI character might have Alvarez’s real-life prowess, which could help navigate complex military scenarios. “I would; he’d be good at ducking and dodging the heavy artillery,” they said.
However, conversely, another user held a dismissive viewpoint. Perhaps there was a sense of disbelief. Nevertheless, the idea regarding Canelo Alvarez’s inclusion seemed unrealistic to the user. They said, “It’s not happening.”

On another post, this fan too shared a voice of support. The prospect of Alvarez being included in the game seems to have excited them about the gameplay experience. A rough translation of what the fan said in Spanish, “F**king great, buddy Canelo, I already have a new character 😉😉…”
But even before the AI thing, when the trailer appeared, a few fans wished Canelo Alvarez could be included as a playable character in the game. For instance, this fan asked, “So, this means we could probably get a Canelo skin in game?”
Clearly, the business development team must have brainstormed extensively before settling on Alvarez.
