26-year-old Anthony Ruso aka Italian Mike Tyson is a well-known name among street-beef enthusiasts and bare-knuckle fighters. When he enters a fight, he brings his high-intensity jabs against his opponents, immediately establishing his dominance. The bravado and persona he’s adopted have also encouraged him to take a risky moniker of ‘Italian Mike Tyson.’ But now that he’s done it, he also faces the wrath of the boxing community.

Audacity or Confidence? Fans Call out the ‘Italian Mike Tyson’

A video on Facebook has managed to irk the boxing community. It shows Ruso fighting off an opponent in the ring for a street beef. While he does exhibit some impressive jabs, he falls back in the precision area. While his acumen might have garnered some compliments, the social media page made the mistake of invoking his moniker. Then what followed you may ask? A reality check that left scathes on the fighter.

One fan came heavily down at the comparison between Ruso and Iron Mike. They not only discarded the parallels drawn but even disapproved of the acumen of the fighter. They said, “Mike Tyson?? I was waiting for something good ,instead saw alot of covering up. This is as long as 5 Tyson fights Nothing impressive.”

Another fan refused to accept the comparisons. They went ahead and pointed out the fighter’s sloppy footwork and bad defense. They said, “Tyson… yeah right. His foot work is sloppy and he’s too open. He can’t size up to a real fighter.”

A user joined the bandwagon in rejecting the comparison. They wrote, “No, he’s not the Italian Tyson. Good on him for having the courage to fight, but not even close to Iron Mike.”

Further came a fan who questioned the ones who seconded the moniker. They asked, “Have you even watched a Mike Tyson fight.”
