Who knew Jake Paul was still making bank from Disney? What do you think of his side hustle?

Today, Jake Paul is known for his crossover boxing matches, but go back a few years, and Paul had a whole different reason behind his popularity. Interestingly, back in 2016, ‘The Problem Child’ played ‘Dirk Mann’ on a Disney show named ‘Bizaardvark’, which aired for three seasons, also featuring his older brother Logan Paul.

But why is ‘Bizaardvark’ in the headlines today? See, the thing is, ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl Hailey Welch appeared in Paul’s popular podcast BS w/Jake Paul recently. During their conversation, the internet personality probed ‘El Gallo’ about his role on the show, which seems to have prompted Paul to reveal details about his residual cheques from the show.

Given Welch’s quick rise to fame, Jake Paul and the gang had a lot to talk about Welch. However, things took a turn for the interesting when she asked, “Weren’t you on Bizaardvark?” This seems to have brought back some memories for the now 27-year-old, as he inquired, “Did you watch Bizaardvark?”

Welch responded, claiming while she watched the show, she didn’t devote herself to every episode of every season for that matter. Nonetheless, Paul seems to have some fond memories from his time on the sets of Disney. “Not my claim to fame… I know Olivia Rodrigo, that’s, like, pretty cool, right?” Paul said.

This also reminded the Cleveland native about the residual cheques he still receives from the show. “That’s so funny, I think they still air it by the way. I don’t… Do they”, said Paul as he tried to figure out whether they did! That’s when Logan Paul jumped in to state, “You probably get residuals”.

So, Paul revealed the worth of those residual cheques—drum rolls, please—he said, “It’s like 3 cents”. Logan quickly quipped and added, “Yeah, that’s not much for you, a couple of hundred bucks”. Even Paul Sr., Greg Paul, revealed that the cheques are actually going to Calabasas in California, where Paul used to live.

But the pay cheques aside, did you know ‘The Problem Child’ may have been fired from a sitcom by Disney!

Paul’s neighborly antics cost him his show! Maybe!

The year was 2017, and Paul lived in an upscale L.A. neighborhood with his ‘Team 10’ made primarily of influencers, and contrary to its name, the team had 13 people. Regardless, he caused quite the ruckus wheel living in the area, turning the lives of the people there a living hell. So, some speculated that his surprise departure from the show was because of all the criticism he received from his antics.

However, Disney’s official statement to Us Weekly, “We’ve mutually agreed that Jake Paul will leave his role.” At the same time, Paul also released a statement, writing, “Long story short . . . my team, Disney Channel, and I have come to the agreement it’s finally time for me to move on from the Disney family and Bizaardvark.. . . I love my cast mates and will continue to support Disney but I have outgrown the channel and feel it’s time to move forward in my career”.

Well, Jake Paul might not have lasted long in the Disney sitcom, but the good news is, he is still making money from it, even though it’s “three cents”. Did you watch his sitcom? Was he any good? Or is it a good thing he started boxing?
