The news of Jake Paul fighting Hasim Rahman Jr. getting canceled is making waves on the Internet. The fight was actually supposed to happen between Paul and Tommy Fury. However, the latter pulled out and Rahman Jr. came as a replacement. But even this match-up got shelved.

Rahman Jr. recently did an interview with FightHype.com, where he was asked by the interviewer, “To my knowledge, I’ve never really seen a real fighter pull out of a fight a week before in advance.”

Another important question to Rahman Jr. was, “Do you believe that he ever intended to truly make it to August 6 and fight you?”  

The fighter replied, “I think that, you know, once he’s seen how I was looking, and you know him coming into my Instagram, you can see how red he was in the face. So he had already been there watching. You know people, I know the people around him, they never seen me like that before. So you know that probably has something to do with it. I think, you know, he’s like I said from the very beginning he is a fraud and phony.”

Jake Paul has been accusing Rahman Jr. as the worst person to work with and also called him unprofessional. But Rahman Jr. has a different side of the story. Well, we cannot really tell which is true. But the bout getting canceled has certainly disappointed fans.

The August 6th bout, which was supposed to be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, is raising a lot of questions. The internet is cluttered with mixed accusations about Paul and Rahman Jr. Amidst this, Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis shared what he heard from inside Paul’s camp.

“I heard from inside the camp of Jake Paul that his manager and team tried to pay Hasim Rahman to take a dive but they rejected it. So then Jake Paul’s team made up a excuse to pull out of the fight.”
