Internet’s well-renowned agent provocateur is back on his grind! Yes, the “internet gangster” Dillon Danis has found his next target. ‘El Jefe’s’ well-publicized long-running feud with the famed Paul brothers will not end anytime soon by the looks of it. This time, Jake Paul‘s recent announcement about his fight with BKFC star Mike Perry on July 20 provides the backdrop. Perry is the Problem Child’s interim opponent before his rescheduled “war”  with Mike Tyson on November 20. This has provoked Danis to pursue the usual trope that is bandied about to discredit the Ohio native – “Jake Paul only fights people he knows he can beat.”

But wait, a third party has been brought into the mix now. Hasim Rahman Jr., a currently inactive boxer and elder son of veteran heavyweight boxer Hasim Rahman, once sparred with Jake Paul back in 2019 and was also greenlighted to fight the Ohio native in 2022 but the fight fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. Rahman Jr. seems to have taken offense at being called a ‘bum’ by Danis in his recent online tirade. But Rahman accurately identified a chink in Danis’ armor and pressed forward with a humiliating reminder to thwart his attack.

Thorn in Danis’ side brought to the fore

Trolling and Danis go hand in hand! What about fighting though? Fair to say, that he has a habit of calling out fighters and pulling out at the last moment. In his recent verbal attack, Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr, were in his crosshairs while discussing the Perry announcement by the ‘Problem Child’. “Mike Perry is a 0-1 boxer. Bare-knuckle fighting isn’t the same as boxing. He’s going to get pieced up. Jake Paul only fights people he knows he can beat. He sparred with Perry before, which is why he chose him, just like that bum Hasim Jr. We all saw how bad he was, but Jake sparred with him, saw his level, and chose to fight him,” wrote Danis in a scathing rebuke on X. However, inadvertently he ended up offending not Paul, but Rahman Jr. instead.

In bare-knuckle fighting, Mike Perry has an undefeated record of 5-0. But, will the skills translate into a boxing ring with 10-ounce gloves? Well, evidence might suggest otherwise. In fact, Perry lost his debut match in the boxing ring against Kenneth McNeil. To make matters worse, he ended up getting knocked out. Ever since the debacle in 2015, Perry has yet to put on a pair of boxing gloves.

However, some would think the criticism is a bit rich coming from Danis. Therefore, Rahman Jr had to come to the online battlespace to remind Danis that he didn’t particularly tear up the combat sports space with his performance either To rub salt into his wound, his dismal performance against Jake’s brother Logan Paul was brought up.You went out like a BITCH against  @LoganPaul… you an Internet gangster buddy. You know it & we all saw how much hoe you got in you. If I’m such a bum, fight me. All you do is run your mouth on the internet.”

To put things into perspective, the BJJ practitioner’s UFC career is yet to take off. When it comes to his boxing career, Conor’s training partner only fought once. And he couldn’t even defeat Logan Paul, a guy who hadn’t won a single boxing fight beforehand in his life. To add insult to injury, Danis’ performance was termed by a lot of combat sports specialists as an insult to the sport of boxing. Does anybody remember Danis attempting to put Paul in a guillotine chokehold in a boxing fight? Or him barely throwing any punches at all! Embarrassingly, he lost the fight against Paul via a disqualification for his ridiculous antics.

In comparison, at least, Hasim Rahim Jr has fourteen fights under his belt, with twelve victories and two losses. Frankly, Danis’ recent statement is akin to the pot calling the kettle black. Meanwhile, recently, Dillon Danis took to X to call Jake Paul a “scumbag” for continuing to pursue the Tyson fight even after Tyson’s ulcer flareup.

Does Jake Paul not care?

Referencing Dana White’s “I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it” comment on Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s fight postponement, Danis said Tyson was in a “sad” predicament, but couldn’t get into the details of it to protect Tyson’s privacy. Reportedly, Paul’s fight with Tyson was postponed following an ulcer flareup. But judging by Danis’ comment, the situation is quite serious.

“I know the reason Mike Tyson had to postpone the fight. I spoke to his close friend, and like Dana White said, he knows but doesn’t want to get involved in respect to Mike. It’s actually truly sad what’s going on. Jake Paul, you’re truly a scumbag for knowing what he’s going…,” Danis wrote on X.

Meanwhile, ‘Iron Mike’ has assured boxing fans that he is feeling better and that the fight with the former Disney star will not be jeopardized. There are rumors swirling that Tyson might have suffered an internal blood clot, but there has been no confirmation from Tyson’s team about this rumor. The potential bout has already caused a lot of controversy owing to the age difference of 30+ years between the two fighters.

Should Jake Paul really be taking up a fight against Mike Tyson? But, before that, do you think Jake Paul can knock out BKFC star Mike Perry? Let us know in the comment section below.
