Dubbed as one of the World’s Strongest Men, Hafthor Bjornsson, is now looking to enter the boxing community and take on his arch-nemesis Eddie Hall. The pair were scheduled to meet in 2021 but the event got postponed, providing some extra preparation time to both the corners. Well, Bjornsson seems to have made full use of it and recently met WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, in his camp.

Per Fury, he is ready to train with the Game of Thrones actor and it shall be a mutually beneficial task. While Bjornsson can learn pugilistic lessons, Tyson Fury can opt to take some dietary advice from his partner. In their first meeting, Fury took some advice on how to shed body fat from Hafthor Bjornsson.

That said, a sparring session between the two will clearly be in favor of ‘The Gypsy King’. Bjornsson understands that and also seems ready to take the beat down, just to self-improvise the in-ring skills.

In a chat with iFL TV, he said, “I mean he [Tyson Fury] will beat me the best but you know I would definitely take it and I would definitely do it to learn and get better you know. The only downfall. Well, the downfall would be, I would get beaten. The good side is I would learn from it. Every time you get beat, you get better you know. I atleast believe that. I train with better guys and I get better”

Tyson Fury is arguably the best heavyweight boxer of this generation. Hence, Bjornsson can fetch some serious lessons from him. However, having zero experience in the sport, he will still stand on a similar scale with Eddie Hall.

Still fresh from a WBC title defense against Deontay Wilder, Fury is yet to receive his next fight. No wonder he is using this layoff for several activities and training. Hafthor Bjornsson can be one of them. The former world’s strongest man, Bjornsson, doesn’t lack any power in his arsenal. But boxing is a game of body movement, fight IQ, and sheer in-ring experience.

No wonder Tyson Fury can offer all these lessons to the Game of Thrones actor. Although Bjornsson will have to implement all of it in the ring, Fury can be the guide to his trip.
