The latest episode of HotBoxin’ with Mike Tyson saw the appearance of comedian and actor Steelo Brim. With Leslie Jones as the co-host and Steelo Brim as a guest, Mike Tyson had gales of laughter on HotBoxin’. Among other topics, Tyson spoke about his struggle with drinking, his wife wanting to “clip him”, and Steelo Brim being in a movie with Keanu Reeves.

With the launch of the trailer for the fourth installment of John Wick, Reeves is yet again the talk of the town exciting his fans for May 21st, 2023. So, how did Reeves and Steelo Brim come along and what was their movie? At one point on HotBoxin’, comedian Leslie Jones spoke about raccoons with Steelo Brim. At this, Mike Tyson meddled by saying “Hey, we forgot this. He was in Hardball in 2001.”

Unaware, Jones inquired what was ‘Hardball’ and Tyson saying. To this, Brim replied by saying that it was a movie starring none other than Keanu Reeves. Hardball (2001) also featured Michael B. Jordan, who played the character of Jamal alongside Steelo Brim’s Sterling.

Enthusiastically, Brim said, “Hardball is the movie I did with Mike. It was a Keanu Reeves movie.” Having heard Steelo Brim, Emmy-nominated actress Jones was in complete surprise.

Jones looked at Brim as if the latter was joking. Initially, she found it hard to digest that the TV personality, who co-hosted and produced MTV’s Ridiculousness, worked with Reeves. Taken by surprise, Jones exclaimed by asking, “You was in there?!”

However, Brim kept his calm and replied by saying, “Yeah, I was in there. I wasn’t like no real character and then just ranked in the state for baseball, so they brought me in.”

Even then, Jones could not believe Brim. She laughed sarcastically. “That’s not true,” she protested by saying. The 21-year-old movie Hardball was directed by Brian Robbins. At that time, Reeves was simultaneously working for the famous ‘Matrix’ franchise.
