“Greatest Fight in Boxing History”: 45 Years Down the Line, Larry Holmes’ 1978 Title Win Leaves Fans Enthralled

As the bell rings to begin the final round, both the boxers rush to the center of the ring to face each other. It can be clearly seen that both the boxers are tired beyond the fight but are not giving up.

The fight starts with Norton throwing the first jab after which both the fighters continue exchanging jabs missing some and landing some. However, Holmes can get Norton on the ropes and lands a left-right combo. Holmes manages to slip some punches and counter Norton with his combos. Years after his retirement, Holmes made a shocking revelation.

The two continued exchanging jabs, and the tension at that moment compelled the audience to stand up from their seats.
