Conor Benn seems ready for an elite matchup as he called out Amir Khan amongst several other champions in his recent post-fight interview. After securing a sensational first-round stoppage over Samuel Vargas, the WBA (Continental) 147 lbs champion, Benn, didn’t hesitate to demand a bigger fight, and with Eddie Hearn alongside, he might receive his desired contest.

While Benn was offered several names from the current mix, including Vergil Ortiz Jr, ‘The Destroyer’ comfortably named Amir Khan. Although Khan is far away from the ongoing title ride, Benn still expressed his desire to face the former world champion.

“Give me a proper test, give me Amir Khan. I know he is too busy on reality shows. But listen, if he wants it, he can get it,” said Conor Benn.

Conor Benn is looking for the big money fights

The 24-year-old Conor Benn has apparently shot aim at the big names of the division, who can eventually bring in lucrative PPV numbers. Hence, he hasn’t restricted himself to Amir Khan. ‘The Destroyer’ also called out ex-champion, Adrien Broner, for a possible in-ring collision.

While Broner has recently staged his return on a successful note, a fight against Benn might allure him to re-appear. But if he doesn’t, the WBA (continental) welterweight champion will still have the ability to select names from a vast pool of opponents.
