YouTube boxer Jake Paul and former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong have seemingly set off a public feud on social media. And in true Paul fashion, the Cleveland native has threatened to beat up the 53-year-old Armstrong. Adding another layer of intrigue, Paul’s Dutch speed-skating girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, has unexpectedly found herself drawn into the drama.

But let’s back up a little bit! A few days ago, Leerdam shared a few pictures and videos from when she and Paul went out cycling. In one of those clips, Paul can be seen huffing and puffing, unable to keep up with Leerdam during the cycling session. And today, Paul hopped on Instagram to challenge Armstrong while sharing a clip from their prior cycling session.

“Lance Armstrong, I am coming,” Paul yelled dramatically while speeding on his bike, with Leerdam recording the entire spectacle. Clearly enjoying the moment, Paul tagged Armstrong in the clip, adding the caption, “@lancearmstrong 1 v1 me.” While the video seemed like another one of Paul’s playful jabs, neither he nor Leerdam could have predicted that the 53-year-old cycling legend would take the challenge seriously—or at least appear to.

Armstrong wasted no time in firing back, responding with a pointed clapback, “Child, please. You’ve been looking for an a** whoopin’. You found your place.” The blunt reply caught attention, instantly escalating the feud. Never one to back down, Paul responded in his typical brash style, doubling down with a comment that seemed to play off public criticism, “Somebody tell him how many old guys I beat,” he wrote in his Instagram Story, referencing his reputation for facing older opponents in his boxing career.

The online back-and-forth didn’t end there. Armstrong, not one to shy away from a challenge, hit back once again, delivering a sharp and cheeky comeback in his own Instagram story: “You name the time and place, punk. Me and my b*ll will be there.” The witty dig, a clear nod to Armstrong’s infamous battle with cancer and his well-known resilience, added another layer of intensity to the spat, leaving fans eager to see how far the feud would go.

Meanwhile, another former legend seems to be craving the action against Jake Paul.

I’m sure,” Jones confidently told Boxing Scene, adding, “The only thing different though is he will probably have to take me out because I’m coming to knock him out. I’m going to get him, or he’s going to get me.”

Jones, who worked commentary for Paul’s record-breaking fight against Mike Tyson in November, acknowledged the challenge of fighting the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer. “It would be very difficult to pick him apart because he is so powerful and big,” Jones admitted. “He has power and is a dangerous puncher. I would beat him, I’m sure, but you would have to be on your A-game all night, especially at my age.”
