Can Mike Perry take down KSI, or is Jake Paul setting him up for failure?

Jake Paul and Mike Perry have put their differences aside and forged a friendship after their fight on July 20th. Paul won the bout with a 6th-round knockout, but he revealed after that he really admires and respects Perry. He even invited him to his podcast, BS with Jake Paul. Apparently, the BKFC star didn’t come empty-handed. He brought a gift for his new pal.

Perry wore a chain with a pendant of Paul’s face before the fight. He fashioned the chain so that Paul’s face was fractured and disfigured, as he meant to hurt him inside the boxing ring. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so. However, he brought that same chain to Paul’s podcast and gifted it to him.

That said, you have to give it to Perry for having a good sense of humor. He pulled out the chain and said, “I got you a gift, and I think you’ve earned it.” The YouTuber-turned-boxer laughed it off as he took the chain. Paul chuckled and said, “They got my nose crooked perfectly. Whoever is the jeweler did a good job.”

‘Platinum’ mentioned that he can’t be “walking around carrying a chain that he didn’t make happen.” The two also talked about their plans and future possibilities. Perhaps BKFC part-owner Conor McGregor had revealed in a tweet that he was firing Perry from the BKFC after his loss to Paul. However, Perry explained on Paul’s podcast that McGregor said something that “got people to tune into it.” He explained, “But let’s be honest, everybody wants to see me fight Bare Knuckle again.”

In addition, Perry is the biggest name in BKFC today. So it won’t make much sense to fire your star performer, as it would certainly lead to substantial losses. Despite that, ‘The Problem Child’ had something else planned for ‘Platinum’.

Jake Paul wants to see Mike Perry fight KSI

The 27-year-old Ohio native has a history of online banter with British YouTuber and celebrity boxer KSI. Both of them have acknowledged that they are up for a fight. However, the match never reached fruition. But Paul mentioned in his podcast that he would like to see Perry go up against KSI. He prompted, “I want to see you fight KSI.” But the BKFC fighter stated that he would need to train with Paul for that.

‘The Problem Child’ responded, “Let’s go; I’ll train you to fu*k him up. I don’t think he would take that, though.” Perry further remarked that KSI should feel “a little more confident” after Paul defeated him. Well, KSI has not responded to the challenge yet. Only time will tell if it will actually take place. Do you think that a fight between KSI and Perry would be interesting? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
