The man’s fate gives every appearance of being sealed. Wherever he goes, whatever he does, as if questions, on the dissolved fights with Jake Paul, can smell his presence and track him out zealously. Tommy Fury is running out of places and time.

Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury‘s half-brother, twenty-three years old Tommy, was born in Manchester, England. His first bout was against Jevgenijs Andrejevs in 2018. So far, he has fought eight times, winning all the matches. A brief foray into the entertainment industry saw him take part in the reality show ‘Love Island’.

Returning to boxing, he fought against Jake Paul’s training partner, Anthony Taylor. An undercard event of Jake Paul’s bout with MMA star Tyron Woodley, it saw him winning the match via unanimous decision.

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury: Game of Cancelations

The road was free for a great rumble between the YouTuber turned pro-boxer and the junior Fury.

It was, but, to be a movie without any climax. The trailers, full of melodrama, buzz, and jeering, were satisfactory though.

The first fight, scheduled for December 2021, had to face cancellation when Fury couldn’t confirm availability because of chest injuries. A much disappointed and irate Jake Paul went on to fight Tyron Woodley once again.

Their second match was rescheduled for August 6th at Madison Square Garden this year. Perhaps fate had decreed for them never to fight. Visa issues debarred Tommy Fury from entering the US. He received a deadline to sort out the problem and get back, but could not succeed.

At the end of his rope, Jake Paul reacted, “My team and my partners have made it clear the steps you need to take to solve your latest excuse. Take them or admit you’re a scared little b**ch.”

Tommy Fury and the Never Ending Questions

Visibly sick and tired of the repeated line of questions, the latest clip had TNT speaking. “I’ve heard it for two years now with Jake Paul this and Jake Paul that. If we’re not in the ring, I don’t give a s**t. Think about my life, every single day of my life – When you’re fighting Jake? When you’re doing this? I’m not interested. I’ll fight him right now. No problem. Because, there’s no on this stage or anybody in the country is built like this us because when you sign to fight us, you’re gonna have to kill us. I know it’s early on in my career, but you’re gonna see the same characteristics in Tyson (Fury) that you see in me. Because you’re gonna have to knock us dead to the floor, for us not to get up.”

The Twitterati was waiting for a chance to pounce at the man most blame for deliberately avoiding Jake Paul.

Wild reactions, on predictable lines. Not even one spared the poor TNT.

Jake Paul’s Coach on Fury’s Latest Reactions

BJ Flores, Jake Paul’s coach, wasn’t impressed when he came across Fury commenting on The Problem Child’s boxing skills despite beating a UFC GOAT!

Speaking to MMA hour, he said, “Who has he beat?” Flores said on The MMA Hour when asked to respond to Fury’s comments. “When has he ever been a main event? How many pay-per-views has he ever sold? You know what I mean? I’m not saying he wouldn’t be a good opponent for Jake, he’s 7-0, 8-0, whatever he is, but he hasn’t really fought anybody yet. A lot of people say that about Jake, but Anderson Silva beats Tommy Fury. I don’t care what anybody says. He beats him one-sidedly, no question about it.”

The twenty-three years old Mancunian would be meeting former US Marine turned pro-boxer Paul Bamba. Once again, it will be an undercard event for Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bout against YouTuber Deji Olatunji at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Stadium on November 13th. Yet, there may still be some hope of Jake Paul versus Tommy Fury to close the questions on a better boxer.
