KSI believes that with his upcoming bout against Joe Fournier, he will “partly” achieve what his rival Jake Paul sought to gain against Tommy Fury. Hence, ahead of the bout on May 13th, the CEO of Misfits Boxing declared that he would eventually “sh*t” on Jake Paul’s whole boxing career. While this is the first time KSI is fighting a ranked boxer and one who has held “a belt in traditional boxing,” the YouTuber-turned-boxer acknowledged that Tommy Fury is still a tougher opponent in boxing.

According to KSI, a victory against both Fournier and Fury will assure him a place above Jake Paul in the sport. In his recent Seconds Out interview, KSI thus spoke about his goal and his views regarding Jake Paul fighting MMA athletes in boxing. Here is what KSI said ahead of his bout with Fournier on May 13th.

KSI accuses Jake Paul of running away while planning to place himself above ‘The Problem Child’

Speaking with Radio Rahim, KSI revealed that he worked on his speed, power, and strength. In addition, he mentioned that he was already preparing himself for “future opponents” in boxing. In this connection, the CEO of Misfits Boxing said, “I was a kid that started in my bedroom playing games and now I’m fighting a 9-0 professional boxer.” Recently, KSI bantered with Tommy Fury and challenged the same in public, stating how he would ruin Jake Paul’s achievements in boxing. In the mentioned interview, he has now assured that they are “close to making the deal” with Fury.

“I think Tommy Fury is a tougher opponent. That’s why once I destroy Joe Fournier, I want to get through to Tommy Fury, destroy him, and then sh*t on Jake Paul’s whole boxing career,” KSI told Radio Rahim. On being asked about his fight with Paul, KSI stated Paul doesn’t want it. “He doesn’t want it. He ran away from all the boxers and decided to find MMA fighters and now wants to fight Nate Diaz,” KSI added.
