Since Floyd Mayweather has claimed to continue fighting in exhibitions, he isn’t having a deficit in grabbing attention from the fight world. While YouTuber Money Kicks seems the front-runner to earn a shot at ‘TBE’, Brit boxer, Kell Brook is also willing to enter the scene.
Fresh from his 40 pro win over Amir Khan, Brook seemed eager to continue his boxing ride. The 35-year-old grabbed a callout from Chris Eubank Jr., which can signal him towards a potential world title run. However, Brook’s coach Dominic Ingle asked Floyd Mayweather to come out of retirement and face ‘The Special One’.

He said, “We have got some good fights out there. I am thinking maybe you know get [Floyd] Mayweather out of retirement and we get that fight. Because he seems he want to fight everybody apart from a boxer you know. Why not?”
Well, coming out of retirement means a pro-fight. But Ingle also sounded good with a possible exhibition and asked manager Ben to secure the Book vs Mayweather fight.
He added, “Get in touch with Floyd and whether it’s an exhibition or a fight or whatever it is. Something that you can probably do.”

Kell Brook is 35 now and is still an active fighter. Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather will soon be 45 and hasn’t fought professionally for almost half a decade. So, the unbeaten boxer may not come out of retirement as he has put a quell on his unmatched 50-0 resume. An exhibition between Brook and Mayweather can be alluring. But that fight is nowhere close to happening now.

Who will Floyd Mayweather face next?
It’s unclear whether Mayweather will return anytime soon. He was supposed to face Money Kicks in early 2022 in Abu Dhabi. While that matchup is viable, Mayweather is also exploring other options. He has hinted about facing an undefeated pro combatant too. So, a lot is happening on his side and Brook is miles away from his radar.
Mayweather also has a lot of tasks to do as a fight promoter. Therefore, he doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to return to action. But the chance to grab millions will clearly intrigue him t re-appear and Mayweather has already welcomed the idea.
