Ryan Garcia put one of the most exhilarating shows against Luke Campbell on January 2. ‘King Ry’ won this cracker of a contest by KO in round 7. Post this fight, he was expected to be in line to fight Gervonta Davis. But ‘Tank’ issued a fierce statement to the WBC Interim champion even before they verbally entered a fight deal.
Davis took to his Instagram handle, wherein he directed a wild shot at ‘King Ry’. He wrote, “I rather handle s**t wit (with) violence instead of speaking!”

Garcia received immense praise for his performance against Campbell, but on the flip side, he was at the receiving end of a bit of backlash too. ‘Cool hand’ dropped Garcia in just the second round of the fight wherein he struck the American with a huge left hook.
This was the first time Garcia went to his knees in his decorated boxing career.
‘King Ry’ and ‘Tank’ have called each other out on enormous occasions. Although Garcia won his Saturday night bout, he is fairly cited as an underdog leading up to his bout against ‘Tank’.
