Leonard Ellerbe asks the ‘billion-dollar question’ on Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis
Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, took to Twitter to ask his fans a question. In his tweet, he emphasized the importance of defense in boxing, stating, “The art of boxing is about hitting and not getting hit”. Many fights have ended prematurely because one of the fighters could not take a punch. Recently, Jake Paul showed his ability to take punches. He took a lot of jabs from Tommy and fought till the end. The match was full of twists and turns, and the boxing world went crazy after the results were announced.

Ellerbe then posed a thought-provoking question, “Who has the better set of whiskers between @Gervontaa and @RyanGarcia?” He challenged fans to consider which fighter could withstand the heat of their opponent’s punches and emerge victorious.
Leonard Ellerbe gives his prediction for Davis vs Garcia
Leonard Ellerbe has previously stated that he thinks Gervonta Davis will beat Ryan Garcia. Ellerbe claimed that Davis has simply too much experience in comparison to Garcia. He claimed that even though Garcia is an amazing and talented fighter, he is still incomparable to Davis. He refused to comment on the details of the contract. The 10-lb rehydration clause has been heavily criticized by a lot of boxing fans and Garcia’s side.

Gervonta Davis has set aside his difference with Mayweather Promotions. He is reportedly holding training camps at Mayweather boxing club in Las Vegas. Ellerbe has stated that even though Davis is not in a contract with them, it doesn’t mean they can’t have a good relationship. Notably, Mayweather and Davis parted ways amicably.
