Gervonta Davis, also known as ‘Tank’ Davis, is a globally recognized boxer. The 27-year-old, who has won multiple world titles, has had an unbeatable career thus far. As a result, many boxers challenge him with offers to fight him. Amidst this, Davis was asked about Jake Paul in a podcast episode, and this is what he had to say.

In an episode of the podcast I AM ATHLETE, Tank Davis was quizzed by Adam Caparell about his thoughts on Jake Paul. Adam Caparell started, “But how do his(Jake Paul) hands compare to yours. Because your hands are like cement bricks. Your hands are like absolutely ridiculous and you just crush guys.” 

Tank Davis replied with a rather practical approach, “I mean, we can’t, I don’t know, I can’t say.”

Caparell further added, “Well give yourself a little credit man. I mean you crack like few guys in the game like you’re one of the hardest punchers in the game.”

To which Tank stated, “He also 200 something pounds. He’s hitting. He knows what he’s doing now.”

Davis talked positively of Paul, adding that he knows what he’s doing. However, the two pugilists have previously engaged in a Twitter sparring.

Gervonta Davis on Jake Paul’s Hit List

Jake Paul rose to fame through the Vine platform. He has since appeared in Disney television series and films. When Paul started filming YouTube videos on his own YouTube channel, ‘Jake Paul,’ which has roughly 20 million subscribers, it was a watershed moment in his life.

However, the YouTube sensation has now entered the world of boxing and boasts an unblemished record of (5-0-0). ‘The Problem Child,’ who wants to be one of the finest boxers in the world, has been calling out huge names for possible fights. On his list are legends like Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor. In addition, Paul included Tank Davis’ name in the list.

Davis responded by tweeting, “Jake Paul better leave me tf alone…”

Following that, the two exchanged a few more tweets. But, most likely, Tank has moved on from that and spoke in a casual manner about Paul in the podcast.
