Creed III is creating all the hype in the boxing world currently. The Michael B. Jordan-directed movie is a highly-anticipated film, and it is finally here. This movie marks the ninth addition to the ‘Rocky’ franchise. The boxing world has been flooding social media with their reactions to the movie, and Gervonta Davis also shared his verdict on the movie from the perspective of a professional boxer. The Baltimore-raised boxer will be in the ring battling against Ryan Garcia in a super lightweight fight this April.

Recently, the undefeated lightweight took to Twitter to share what he thinks about Jordan’s movie; his reaction to the movie has caused a stir among his fans.

Davis’s review of Creed III

‘Tank’ Davis is not the one to shy away from sharing his thoughts. The lightweight is known for being upfront and honest about what he thinks about something without any sugar coating.

Davis shared his review on Twitter. The three-division world champ had a positive take on the movie and seemed delighted after watching it. He further showed appreciation for everyone who was a part of the movie and displayed his respect for all the real fighters and coaches who played their parts in the film. It is safe to say that the Baltimore hard hitter has given a green signal to his fans to go and enjoy the movie for themselves.


“Creed was fire…I like how they had real fighters, coaches and refs in the movie..much love to everybody that played a part of a great movie!” Gervonta Davis tweeted.

The tweet has since been deleted by Gervonta Davis. However, a YouTube handle named YSM Sports Media put up a video capturing a screenshot of the tweet Davis had posted.

For Creed III, The 36-year-old director went grand. Many professional boxers can be seen making their Hollywood debut with the movie. Names like Canelo Alvarez and Jose Benavidez Jr made an appearance in the film. The fans are excited as the movie has finally hit the movie theatres, and  Creed III is a movie they cannot afford to miss.
