Out of all the upcoming boxing talents, Gervonta Davis has signified a place of his own. He has struck the right chord in attaining vast success in the sport. In every division he’s stepped in, Davis has definitely left as a champion.

The young gun has now transitioned his radar to the super-lightweight division. Wherein, he’s keen to make a statement.

For now, no details on his return to the ring are revealed by his corner. But, ‘Tank’ recently took it to his official Twitter handle to respond to a fan, asking dates for his potential return.

The fan asked, “Drop the date bro.”

To which Davis replied, “Next week.”

‘Tank’ last fought in October 2020 against Leo Santa Cruz. Here he terrified the latter, thus finishing him in round 6 of the fight.

Right from the first gong, the 26-year-old made his intent clear in this fight. Though Cruz tried to knock him down in a few moments between the fight, ‘Tank’ displayed a champion mindset. He didn’t let the latter take control of the ring, and in the end, he caught Cruz with a vicious uppercut.

With this win, Davis improved his clean boxing resume to 24-0.

Davis has an offensive boxing style, which is too much for his opponents to handle. He possesses the ability to walk his opponents down by constantly pressuring them with slick combinations.
