After vanquishing Mario Barrios in June, ‘Tank’ was being touted in several potential fights. However, Romero has finally made it to his radar, in what appears to be a fan-favorite fight.

While Romero (14-0) is currently the WBA interim lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis holds the WBA regular world title. Thus, Romero has rightly bagged his shot at gold, against one of the most vicious 135 pounders of the time.

Thus, putting them opposite each other can produce sheer violence which the boxing world will seemingly relish. But as ‘Tank’ has proven his worth against bigger opponents, his vicious KO-power will always have a lot to show in a boxing fight. Also, Romero will look to use the opportunity to back his words. Hence, fans are in for a mega-fight.
