The undefeated orthodox boxer, Rolando Romero, is the rising prospect in the lightweight division. Recently, ahead of his May 28th clash on showtime PPV against Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Rolly Romero joined “The Last Stand” podcast.
The WBA interim lightweight discussed his matchup against long-time rival Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, his beef with Devin Haney, and much more.

However, the most highlighted part of the 26-year-old’s interview was his cutting remarks on WBA (Regular) lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis.
He said, “He’s for sure gonna get knocked out. He’s gonna run right into something because he’s stupid and he has a big head. He has like this koala-shaped head, like he’s a Koala with chlamydia. He’s big a big a** man.”

This was not the first time when ‘Rolly’ targeted the southpaw gun. The duo shared a long-time grudge.
The rivalry between Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero
For the uninitiated, the pair was most likely to collide in December 2021. But due to the out-of-ring controversies, ‘The Mayweather Promotions’ did not allow the Las Vegas native to fight. However, later the charges framed against ‘Rolly’ were dropped. Till then, the Mexican power puncher, Isaac Cruz, came into play and proved the toughest opponent of ‘Tank’ in the latter’s entire career.

Interestingly, this fight is much talked about because it is not only a clash for the title. But on personal grounds, it’s a rumble between former Mayweather promotions member Rolly and the current protege of Floyd Mayweather, ‘Tank’ Davis.
Known for trolling his rivals, ‘Rolly’ joined the Mayweather boxing club to turn pro and soon caught the attention of undefeated legend, Floyd Mayweather. Moreover, ‘The Pretty Boy’ offered him to fight for his promotion, but could not make it.
