Returning to the boxing ring at the age of 57 wasn’t a joking matter. And now that Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson has been postponed, by the time Tyson enters the ring against ‘The Problem Child’, the former Heavyweight champion of the world will be 58. So, the boxing world’s concern over Tyson’s health is justified, especially when ‘Kid Dynamite’ recently suffered an ulcer flare-up on his way to Los Angeles from Miami. However, former WWE wrestling legend Hulk Hogan strongly believes that Tyson will do just fine!
Among others, when Paul vs. Tyson was announced, Stephen A. Smith had a jumpscare moment as he meditated on the 30-year age gap between Paul and Mike. Additionally, as he learned from UFC fighter Daniel Cormier that Tyson had walked into a UFC event with a cane, Smith thought Tyson boxing 27-year-old Jake Paul was absurd. But Hulk Hogan remains unbothered as he still sees “that look” glowing in Tyson’s eyes.
In an interview with TMZ, Hulk Hogan expected “the fight of the century” from Tyson and Paul. And later when Hogan appeared on News Nation, the wrestler maintained his energy about Tyson vs. Paul. “Well, you know I talked to both of them. Tyson is tired of all the backtalk – he doesn’t even want an exhibition, he wants to go full-blown killer,” said Hogan. And what did Hogan learn from Jake Paul?

“When I was down to the Formula races in Miami, I talked to Paul. And at the end of the day, he said he was going out to knock Mike out. So, it’s going to be really crazy because they both have skills and you just never know, one good shot can end the day,” added the former professional wrestler.

But unlike Stephen A. Smith and others who fear Tyson’s fate against Paul, Hogan rather showed concern for Jake Paul!

Despite the doubters, Oscar De La Hoya had earlier stated that Jake Paul was no danger to Mike Tyson in the ring. In fact, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions called Tyson a “strong bull.” And now, Hulk Hogan echoed De La Hoya! On being asked whether or not he was worried about Tyson, Hogan said, “I’m not really worried about him. He’s a mean junkyard dog.”
“He’s got that killer instinct and that look in his eyes. So, if he gets there, it could be a tough night for Jake Paul,” Hogan concluded. With that said, do you agree with Hogan and believe Mike Tyson can pull off a memorable victory against Jake Paul? In your opinion, can Mike Tyson still knock out Paul in November?
