Tyson Fury is certainly the most unreliable man when it comes to making promises. Earlier, this year in April, he announced that he hung up his gloves to spend time with family and friends. After a vacation, he hinted at his return. Later, he called out his former opponent, Dereck Chisora, for a trilogy battle. Before anything could happen, he engaged in a trash talk with Usyk’s manager. Now, he called out his biggest rival in Anthony Joshua.

At the start of this week, he made a big announcement. He filmed a video calling out former unified champion, Anthony Joshua, for a December showdown and shared it on the Internet.

Introducing himself as the WBC heavyweight champ, ‘The Gypsy King’ said, “I think you’ve all learned that I’m going to be fighting, soon within the next few months and I think that before I announce an opponent. I need to do this just in case Anthony Joshua. I know you’ve just lost a fight to Usyk and you bounce at the momentum and I’d like to give you an opportunity to fight me for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world and the lineal championship.”

Next, he asked for AJ’s favor. He wanted Joshua to decide whether he wants to fight him or not. Because he is eager to take himself to the ring in the coming months. If Joshua is not available then he could choose another opponent. Certainly, it makes sense on Fury’s part.

What did Anthony Joshua reply to Tyson Fury?

How could Joshua lose such an opportunity of accelerating his career after successive losses to Usyk? So he decided to meet Fury in December. But he did not trust Fury’s words. Therefore, he wrote on Twitter, “Yea calm. I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if your really about it shout @258mgt. I’ll be ready in December. Khalas.”

Now, it would be interesting to see if Fury locks horns with Joshua or Usyk because both fights are in talk now.
