Despite their insane finish stats, it might be too soon for either of the boxers to take on someone as accomplished as ‘Olek’. The Ukrainian fighter is a former unified cruiserweight champion and has looked incredible in his transition to the heavyweight division. Usyk has faced Joe Joyce in the past and earned a unanimous decision win during his amateur days.
Earlier, ‘Olek’ had sent out an ultimatum to unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. He demanded that ‘AJ’ either vacate the WBO strap and fight Tyson Fury or step inside the boxing ring to defend his gold.
