The elite knockout artist has already proven his worth and can possibly aim for the bigger titles next. He can face Oleksandr Usyk to cement his position as a mandatory title challenger. However, every heavyweight champion is currently booked for a fight. Joshua will defend his unified titles against Pulev on December 5 and Tyson Fury will seemingly return in early 2021 to defend his WBC strap.
Meanwhile, Alexander Povetkin will defend his Interim WBC title in a rematch against Dillian Whyte soon. Thus, Joe Joyce has some time to figure out the roster and prepare before stepping up for the major tests.
