In an interview with @boxing_social, Smith revealed Benn vs. Eubank Jr. to be the biggest British boxing fight. He stated, “Yeah look, there’s work to be done in that fight. It’s a fight that all parties are interested in and want to make. I think it is the biggest fight in British boxing.”

When asked if he considers it to be bigger than AJ vs. Fury, he claimed they bought are up there. He added, “I’d say it’s up there with it. Alongside it. And maybe we go outside and everyone brings their blankets. I think it is bigger than it has ever has been. I think him coming back, Chris Back and avenging that loss against Liam Smith adds to it. That just naturally builds Chris’s profile.”
