British has seen impeccable talent in recent times. However, Frank Smith asserts Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn to be the biggest fight in British Boxing. Smith is the CEO of, ‘Matchroom Boxing.’ His claim comes after Eubank Jr. avenged his defeat against Liam Smith in stunning fashion. Not to mention, they were scheduled to fight one another in the winter of last year.

Moreover, one of the biggest British boxing bouts out there is Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua. Is Fury vs. Joshua a bigger fight than Eubank Jr. vs. Benn? Smith weighs in

Fury vs. Joshua has been speculated in the boxing world for years. Not just in British boxing, but worldwide. Not to mention, once upon a time, both boxers were champions. A bout between the two at the time would have been for the undisputed heavyweight fight which is historic in itself. Because the two were British, it would been one of the biggest British boxing bouts.

However, Joshua is no longer the champion and has been defeated multiple times but two different combatants. It would be fair to say that the stakes of this bout are not what it once was but it is a massive spectacle. In an interview with @boxing_social, Smith revealed Benn vs. Eubank Jr. to be the biggest British boxing fight. He stated, “Yeah look, there’s work to be done in that fight. It’s a fight that all parties are interested in and want to make. I think it is the biggest fight in British boxing.”

When asked if he considers it to be bigger than AJ vs. Fury, he claimed they bought are up there. He added, “I’d say it’s up there with it. Alongside it. And maybe we go outside and everyone brings their blankets. I think it is bigger than it has ever has been. I think him coming back, Chris Back and avenging that loss against Liam Smith adds to it. That just naturally builds Chris’s profile.”
