Francis Ngannou is keeping it real with Jake Paul. The heavyweight fighter has seen both the combat sports world, MMA and boxing, and also trained with Mike Tyson. So, he might be the perfect person to ask the question. Who wins the fight between the two? The Cameroonian-French fighter has a nasty prediction.
Ngannou, 38, sat down with Paul, 27, at B/S Podcast, where the two discussed the fighters’ pay in UFC and his MMA journey. Towards the end of the episode, they steered the conversation to the coming Paul vs. Tyson fight, and ‘Problem Child’ comically confronted Ngannou about his recent comment on the fight. Interestingly, Ngannou, at 17-3, had opined that Tyson, 58, would knock out Paul.
So, Paul, at 10-1, pointed out, “You actually spoke to some reporter like yesterday or the day before, and you said that you think Mike Tyson’s going to beat my a*s.” In response, ‘Predator’ remained firm in his stance and simply reiterated his position. He said, “Yeah, I do.” Ngannou then expanded on why he thought so.

Notably, Tyson trained Ngannou for his fight against Tyson Fury. The former UFC champion has seen closely what Tyson could do inside the ring and on the sparring ropes. Therefore, Francis Ngannou explained, “Listen, I have seen how Tyson moves around just like to show me stuff… He still got it. Either way, I think Mike Tyson will beat you.”

Lastly, Ngannou cautioned Paul despite concerns about Tyson’s age and health. He added, “We’re talking about Mike, bro. Mike is something else. He’s a specimen… Mike will move from this side to this side without you knowing.” But even with this harsh prediction wrapped under the guise of humor, Paul has faith in his skills and abilities to secure a win.
Jake Paul is confident of his abilities against Mike Tyson
In a conversation with TMZ Sports, the Cleveland native stated that he was “100%” confident of pulling off an upset. He also admitted his seriousness about the fight, as his professional record was on the line. He also touched upon the possibility of getting injured.

Paul declared, “A pro-fight means war, and I don’t take it lightly. You can get seriously hurt or injured in there. If you are not in there to go to war, then you should get out.” It remains to be seen whether Ngannou’s faith in Tyson’s power and experience will come true or whether Paul will continue his rapid surge in the boxing world.
