Speaking to FightHype.com, the 39-year-old said, “As far as him getting validation from the fight community. I don’t know if that will ever happen. You know I think for Jake his path is different. Him coming up as a YouTuber and this comedy kid and doing his thing, those antics. It’s gonna be tough to beat that shadow.”
However, he made it clear that he supports him and added a possibility that 10 years down the line he might get validation.
Next, he discussed Paul’s 40 million dollar income from the sport. According to Schaub, no one cares about it until ‘The Problem Child’ does something extraordinary, like beating the Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.
“Unless he were to fight like a this is how crazy MMA fanbase is unless you were to fight like Canelo Alvarez and beat him than people like he’s pretty good but other than that he’s never going to get credit,” Schaub said.
Before dropping the harsh truth bomb over Paul, he praised him for taking a shot against heavyweight fighter Hasim Rahman Jr. He believed that Paul would knock Rahman Jr. out.

UFC 279 is coming up with an exciting contest between fans’ favorite Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz. Notably, Paul is so confident that Diaz would pull a big upset that he announced to bet on him.
He took to Twitter and labeled Chimaev a ‘Fake fighter’.
