The hype around the Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. fight seems to pick up speed as the days pass. Not a day goes when fans and experts assess an expert opinion on the battle, its outcome, the future implications, and many other developments. Former WBC and IBF Welterweight champion Andre Berto, who fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shawn Porter, among others, in the past, joined the crowd with his impression.

Berto seems sure that the Crawford-Spence Jr. fight will not go the distance but rather face an early stoppage. He said, “Spence vs. Crawford will not go the distance. BE CLEAR!! Somebody is getting stopped in spectacular fashion. That’s the only way this goes.” But many fans find themselves disagreeing with the surmise. A few came up with their supposition.

Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will be over, short and quick.

The following user, however, contradicts the former champion. He believes that Crawford’s and Spence Jr.’s characters and inclinations make this fight one of the finest of our time. But the user doesn’t foresee either backing off from a slug-fest. Nor would either be willing to give a quarter to the other. In his opinion, ‘Bud’ Crawford topples Spence Jr.

The following user echoes a similar line. He anticipates the Crawford-Spence Jr. ending up as another ‘Canelo’ Alvarez versus Gennady Golovkin. In his opinion, the one with more live wire has a better chance of winning. Spence Jr. seems to be that boxer from the user’s standpoint.

Another user who disagrees with Andre Berto postulates that a knockout victory remains highly improbable with the kind of credentials both Crawford and Spence Jr. carry. According to him, big-name bouts usually turn out to be utterly dull experiences. The duelists opt for a low-risk, error-free ring tactic to avoid a defeat.

Probably irked by the former champion’s statement, curiosity got the better of Yusuf. In his view, top-notch boxers rarely get knocked out by each other. Hence he wonders why Crawford-Spence Jr. should be considered an exception.

A fan named Andre Berto seems to be getting some support. The following user sees Spence Jr. scoring more than Crawford during the initial rounds. However, by the eighth round, the latter will draw alongside and, with a jab, nail a knockout over Spence Jr.

The following user Fire Skull however, finds it laughable that Berto considers both ‘Bud’ Crawford and ‘The Truth’ akin to former hard-hitting Welterweights like Felix Trinidad and Ike Quartey. According to the user, Terence Crawford will win by points in a closely fought bout.

Speaking about the fight, surprisingly, Terence Crawford retains similar thoughts as Berto declared. Speaking to Stephen A Smith, the WBO champion stated that he plans to knock out Spence Jr. on July 29.
