Rahman Jr. was quick to notice KSI’s announcement. And there is no denying that ‘Sangre De Oro’ was mighty impressed by his decision. He took to social media to commend KSI for his decision.
Additionally, Rahman Jr. also called him and Matchroom boxing CEO Eddie Hearn ‘real goats’ for their path-breaking decision.
KSI decides to fight two opponents
Olayinka Williams Olatunji Jr. AKA KSI was scheduled to mark his comeback to the sport after a hiatus of over 2 years. Moreover, the O2 Arena in London was set to witness his showdown with Alex Wassabi.
However, Wassabi had to back out of the fight due to a concussion, and Swarmz took his place. This was when he decided to make the fight night a lot more interesting by roping in Nikolov as well.

Talking about his decision, he said, “It’s never been done before in YouTube boxing,” he said. “In fact, I don’t think it has ever been done in normal boxing on pay-per-view.”
He even asked social media personalities like Bryce Hall, Dax, Vinnie Hacker, and Taylor Holder to be his second opponent.

But when they refused, he decided to take the challenge up a notch. KSI said, “So we decided to fight someone who would beat all of the people I mentioned before. I am fighting a pro boxer for my second fight, on the same night. I am fighting Swarmz and a Bulgarian boxer on the same night. Am I insane? Probably? Am I crazy? Probably? Is this ridiculous? Probably.”
Additionally, he even went on to call out Jake Paul. He mentioned that he is already fighting a professional boxer while Paul was unable to do the same.
