Jake Paul so far has had a rough year, with his first-ever defeat blemishing the perfect record that he worked so hard to build. It makes sense that Jake Paul is taking some time off and letting himself calm down. This setback holds even more importance because Jake Paul is going to make a debut for PFL (Professional Fighting League) this year. He had signed with PFL at the time when he was still an undefeated fighter.

Jake Paul recently gave a statement to Fox News where he gave out some of the details that NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers previously didn’t share. Paul surprisingly revealed that he and Aaron Rodgers tried ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea that contains the hallucinogen DMT, during a retreat in Peru.

Jake Paul is currently taking things slow, the social media star had been training very hard for his previous bout against Tommy Fury. Before once again hitting the gym, Paul plans on spending time with his family and friends. He stated, “I’m just going to take it to fight by the fight for now and keep the passion alive with that and just see where things take me“.

Just like Rogers, Paul joked about taking ayahuasca sometime this year. Paul stated, “Aaron and I were actually together when we did the ayahuasca. He’s more publicly known for speaking about it, but I was there with him when we did it.” Even a few years back, Jake Paul also put the doping controversy to rest, regarding John Fury.

Paul has recently revealed the surprising news that he had tried Ayahuasca with Aaron Rogers. Rogers hasn’t been shy about him partaking in hallucinogens and it seems Jake Paul also joined him at one such time.

Paul revealed that he and Rogers spent a week with each other while doing Ayahuasca. Paul also shared that he and Rogers had a similar viewpoint on spirituality and ‘going deepest parts of the mind’.

Jorge Masvidal’s thoughts on Jake Paul

The two-time UFC welterweight title contender has squashed the possibility of a bout against Jake Paul after Paul’s most recent defeat against Tommy Fury. Although Masdival and Paul had a rivalry previously, now he claims that the chances of their fight taking place are minimal, to say the least. Masvidal himself has yet to win a fight since November 2019. He claimed that the pay-per-view for Jake Paul’s fights has been rather low, so there is not enough financial draw in the fight.

Although their relationship started with friendship, and they even previously trained together. However, their relationship late deteriorated and they were seen as potential opponents in the ring. Time will only tell where this rivalry goes. Meanwhile, Masdival is training for his fight against Gilbert Burns which is going to take place on April 8. Masvidal desires to have a boxing match before his retirement.
