However, Davis’ win over Barrios opened up the door to several potential matchups, with certain twists in the tale. Floyd Mayweather outlined his protégé’s future in the sport, which clearly raised several eyebrows. The retired boxer insisted on staging Davis only against PBC boxers, keeping the entire revenue in-house.
