Floyd Mayweather’s name has always been associated with money. So much so that even his nickname changed from”Pretty Boy” Floyd to “Money” Mayweather. The nickname perfectly suits him, as the undefeated fighter is undoubtedly the richest boxer ever to grace the sport. It was before the Oscar De La Hoya fight when Mayweather gave himself the nickname “Money”.
Mayweather has won inside and outside the ring. He has 5 children; 2 daughters and 3 sons. His oldest child, Koraun Mayweather, is 24 years old. He is highly active on social media platforms and shared a picture of his father when he turned from “Pretty Boy” Floyd to “Money” Mayweather.
Koraun Mayweather reminisces about his father

Koraun Mayweather is a public figure in his own right. He has over 350k Instagram followers and runs a YouTube channel by the name of “King Koraun”. On his YouTube channel, he uploads his music videos in which raps and sings. He also released a music album in the year 2020. “King Koraun” is a big supporter of his father and is usually seen ringside at his fights.

Recently, he took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of his father. The picture appears to be from years ago wherein Mayweather is evidently looking young. While posing for the camera, he had his left hand strapped and cash in his right hand. Mayweather has many iconic pictures inside and outside the ring. Many of them include him flaunting his extravagant lifestyle & riches.

Though, the one that his son posted on his Instagram story was at the time when Mayweather was transitioning from “Pretty Boy” Floyd to “Money” Mayweather. Evident to say, Koraun Mayweather is proud of his father for being one of the greatest fighters ever to grace the ring.

Koraun Mayweather once called his father Floyd Mayweather a “Coward”
In the year 2014, Koraun Mayweather was only 14 years old when he publicly his father allegedly beating up his mother. As per root.com, the then 14-year-old stated, “He is a coward” after experiencing a dramatic incident. He further said, “I went back into my room and locked the door and then ran back out my bathroom and then hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance gate. I just told [the guard] that my mom was getting hurt and to call the ambulance and the police”
In 2012, Koraun was jailed for 90 days after a guilty plea to domestic violence charges. His off-court battles have been tougher than his on-court battles. Many boxing fans and purists consider him the greatest boxer of all time.
