Former 5 division champ Floyd Mayweather’s protegee has a warning for lightweight contender Ryan Garcia. Curmel Moton is the latest addition to ‘Money’s team and is certainly on his way to becoming a great boxer like his mentor. Moreover, he thinks that WBA regular champion and former Mayweather protege Gervonta Davis will get the better of ‘King Ry’.
The talks for a fight between the two lightweight prospects have been speculated for a long time. However, it seems the two will more than likely face each other in April next year. However, Moton might have some advice for Garcia ahead of the matchup.

Curmel Moton has a stern warning for Ryan Garcia
In a recent interview with FightHype, Mayweather’s protegee was asked why many fans felt ‘Tank’ would easily beat Garcia in a boxing match. He then stated that according to him Garcia was not focused fully on the sport. He added that to beat Davis, one needed a good defense, which ‘The Flash’ was lacking. Moreover, he claimed that if ‘Tank’ caught him with a clean punch he would not survive past the 10 counts.
“I don’t think Ryan’s really focused and to beat Tank you gotta have a good defense and I don’t see that with Ryan, you know he got dropped and if Tank would have caught him with that shot, it would have probably been over” he said
