In early March, Floyd Mayweather and his large entourage confronted Jake Paul after a Miami Heat game. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral. After a brief altercation, Paul ran away from Mayweather and his group and was later escorted back by a police officer.

However, Jake Paul has recently claimed that this viral altercation with Mayweather was entirely staged. Paul revealed to sports commentator Wade Plem that the incident was planned beforehand. The video was uploaded by Happy Punch on Twitter. “We were like, ‘Let’s set this up and make this go viral.’ And (go) viral, it did. Yes, it went on every single news page and outlet. We got exactly what we wanted out of it,” he revealed.
