Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather seems to have reignited his rivalry with YouTube sensation Jake Paul. The pair first started beefing after Paul’s antics during Mayweather’s exhibition with his brother, Logan Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ took ‘Money’s hat away after confronting him back in 2o21, which caused a brawl. However, the former champ seems to be a little angry about the incident.
The two unexpectedly met in Miami after seeing an NBA game. Paul ran into Mayweather and his entourage, who ganged up on him and tried to jump him. However, after understanding the seriousness of the situation, Paul ran away from the confrontation until he reached a safe space and was escorted by a police official. Moreover, this move was applauded by the boxing community who understood why the YouTuber did not escalate the situation. However, Mayweather’s daughter Yaya looked more than happy after her father chased down the 26-year-old internet star.

Chael Sonnen condemns Floyd Mayweather for his altercation with Jake Paul
Former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen also had some thoughts to share about this altercation. In a video on his YouTube channel, he condemned Mayweather and downright accused him of commuting a crime. According to Sonnen, this was a cowardly act by the former champion and was also illegal.
“You come out and this is a crime. This is disgusting, and this is cowardly what they did, but it’s a crime. Now you have one of Floyd’s people filmed the crime. That’s your real story. You’ve got to be a special kind of stupid. He films a crime and they intimidate Jake and the one guy says, ‘Hey, y’all. Should we rough him up?’ That right there becomes illegal. Then the guy answers his own question, ‘Yeah, let’s rough him up.” said Sonnen.
