On June 6, boxing’s biggest ever name, Floyd Mayweather, made an appearance on the exhibition side of boxing against the lanky YouTuber, Logan Paul. As this fight got announced, fans made a clear choice on who they would support for this clash. For obvious reasons, that was Mayweather.
Also, many expected this exhibition to conclude in approximately 3 rounds, as Paul’s skillsets were nothing compared to those of Mayweather. But things completely changed when the duo actually fought. The fight went the distance and ‘Pretty Boy’ failed to capitalize on his strengths at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Recently, Floyd Mayweather’s uncle, Jeff Mayweather, interacted with Fight Hub TV and revealed what went wrong for his nephew in the Logan Paul fight.
He said, “Well, I mean, don’t get me wrong. Logan’s a athlete. Logan’s not just a YouTuber, he’s a athlete. So I mean, and he outweighed him by 40 pounds and gave up, you know, what about five inches in height? So I mean that can happen to anyone.”

“I mean, people think that just because Floyd was a great boxer that I mean when you turn 44, things change, and plus he’s been inactive for about four years so, it was great.”
Mayweather was successful in landing some of his power hits on the YouTuber. However, as he didn’t really get into the groove, he failed to put up a fight worth the hype and departed without a win. On the other hand, Paul gave his best, and he allured everyone with his performance.
Was Logan Paul the superior boxer against Floyd Mayweather that night?
Logan Paul, 26, boasts a solid physique. His skills sets have undoubtedly increased with time. He looked in maximum control in this fight, thus showing in the hard work he put.

That said, there’s no doubt on admitting he was the superior boxer over Mayweather that night. He also had an advantage with his height and reach, which he effectively used to thwart the 50-0 pugilist. Given his showing against ‘Money’, all of Logan Paul’s future fights will be worth the watch.
