The fight purses for Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul has been revealed. Boxing icon Mayweather will take on the YouTube sensation Logan Paul in an exhibition fight on February 20, 2021. The details of the fight or the event are not known; however, it now seems that they have revealed the fight purses. So how much will Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul make for the fight in February 2021?

Playmaker reported the figures on their Instagram account in a post. The picture showed that Floyd Mayweather will receive an initial $2 million upfront to face the 25-year-old. While Logan Paul will receive an initial $200,000 to step in the ring with the boxing legend.

This exhibited the difference in pay between the two parties.

Furthermore, the icon of the sport will get 5% of the PPV sales, while Logan will get 2% of the PPV sales. And with this promising to be yet another high-selling event, the fighters could earn a lot more than their initial pay-outs. Especially when you consider the way they have set the PPV price. However, it is clear to see why Mayweather even considered the fight between the two.

Other details about the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight?

Since the announcement, there has not been a lot of disclosure on the other information about the fight. However, rumors suggest that the event could happen over in Saudi Arabia. We also know that this fight will not reflect on either fighters’ record. Other than this, and the pricing of the PPV, there is not much information available about the whole event. Things like the number of rounds, rules, and regulations, still yet to be decided.

Fans knew that the only way Mayweather would get in the ring with someone like Logan Paul would be if he got an absurd amount of money. However, it may still surprise many that he is doing it for this amount of money. Either way, both fighters will benefit from the event and many will hope that the sport benefits from it too.
